Join Us
We are a 70 member mixed-voice choir based in Durham Region, called the County Town Singers. Our membership represents an eclectic mix of ages, backgrounds and experiences, brought together through a common love of music and performing. Some members join for a year or two, many stay for several years, and a few individuals have been singing with us for over 35 years!
We are a diverse group of men and women – sopranos, altos, tenors and basses – who love to come together each week to sing our hearts out! We are an auditioned choir, though the audition process is more to place your voice within the group. Reading music is not necessary, but is an asset as we do memorize our music, so being able to hold your part is important. But don't worry, if you are as enthusiastic about singing as we are, we look forward to meeting you!
